Shahid Kapoor Increases His Fees By Whooping Amount of Rs 5 Crores Despite ‘Jersey’ Flopped At Box Office? Reports
Shahid Kapoor is undoubtedly a talented actor and has a fanbase across the country that prominently has a female fan following. When the Ishq Vishk actor entered Bollywood he was the crush of million girls. Breaking his chocolate boy image, he has done movies in different genres and played different kinds of characters. Some of his movies have been major hits and some failed at the box office. His recent film Jersey didn't do well at the box office. However, there are reports that Shahid has increased his fees despite his last film being a failure.

Kapoor’s last film ‘Jersey’ which starred Mrunal Thakur, was a remake of the 2019 Telugu film ‘Jersey’ of Nani. The sports flick proved to be a big flop as it just collected Rs. 19.68 crores net. Though his last film was a failure, the Kaminey actor has hiked his fees by Rs. 5 crores, according to a report by BollywoodLife. The portal mentioned that according to their source, a promising director approached him for a project, for which he asked Rs 35 crores as his fees. This left the director in a fix making it difficult to convince the investors to pay the actor this hefty amount.

On the work front, the Vivah actor has two movies in the pipeline, Raj and DK’s directorial Farzi, which is going to be Shahid’s OTT debut. Another is ‘Bloody Daddy’ directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The filmmaker announced his collaboration with Shahid on social media.
